Tour Details
Day 1: Islamabad:
Arriving at Islamabad International Airport, you’ll be greeted by your local guide, who will transfer you to your hotel for check-in. Once you’ve settled in, your day will begin with a visit to the Faisal Mosque, the largest mosque in Pakistan, set against the backdrop of the Margalla Hills. From there, you’ll head to Daman-e-Koh, a viewpoint offering panoramic views of Islamabad. Next, visit the Pakistan Monument, which symbolizes the four provinces of Pakistan and provides stunning views of the city. In the evening, you’ll enjoy a delicious dinner at a local restaurant before returning to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 2: Islamabad-Skardu:
After breakfast, you’ll take a short but scenic flight from Islamabad to Skardu, located in the Gilgit-Baltistan region. On arrival, you’ll be transferred to your hotel for check-in, and then have the opportunity to explore the bustling Skardu Bazaar, where you can shop for local handicrafts and souvenirs. The evening will be at your leisure, allowing you to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Skardu. Afterward, enjoy dinner at the hotel before an overnight stay.
Day 3: Skardu, Deosai National Park, Skardu:
After breakfast, embark on a full-day excursion to Deosai National Park, one of the highest plateaus in the world, renowned for its stunning landscapes and wildlife. During your visit, you will explore Sheosar Lake, a pristine, high-altitude lake located within the park. The lake, surrounded by snow-capped peaks, offers fantastic opportunities for photography and tranquility. You will enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of the park. After exploring, you will return to Skardu in the evening, where you can unwind and enjoy dinner at your hotel. Stay overnight in Skardu.
Day 4: Skardu-Hunza:
After breakfast, you will begin your overland journey from Skardu to Hunza (approximately 6-7 hours by road). The drive takes you through stunning landscapes, with several stops for breathtaking views and photographs. One of the stops will be the Nanga Parbat Viewpoint, where you can capture the majestic Nanga Parbat, the 9th highest peak in the world. You’ll also stop at Rakaposhi Viewpoint for another photo opportunity before continuing your journey to Hunza. Once you arrive in Karimabad, the main town of Hunza, you will check into your hotel, enjoy dinner, and stay overnight.
Day 5: Hunza-Attabad Lake-Gulmit-Hunza:
Start your day with a visit to Attabad Lake, formed after a 2010 landslide, followed by a boat ride on its turquoise waters. Then, visit the Husseini Suspension Bridge, Gulmit Village, and the Corgah Carpet Centre. Continue to Passu Glacier and Hooper Glacier, with dramatic views of surrounding peaks. Return to Karimabad for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 6: Hunza-Khunjerab Pass-Hunza:
After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive towards the Khunjerab Pass, the highest paved international border crossing in the world, located on the border between Pakistan and China. The drive offers spectacular views of the Karakoram Range, and once you reach Khunjerab Pass, you’ll be able to stand at one of the highest points in the region, surrounded by towering peaks. After spending some time at the pass, you’ll make your way back to Hunza. In the evening, enjoy dinner at your hotel and relax for the night.
Day 7: Hunza-Gilgit:
After breakfast, take a drive from Hunza to Gilgit, a journey that takes about 2–3 hours. Upon arrival in Gilgit, you will visit the famous Gilgit Bazaar, where you can shop for local crafts and souvenirs. Later, enjoy a scenic drive along the Indus River, and visit the Naltar Valley, known for its stunning scenery, especially the Naltar lakes. Return to Gilgit for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 8: Gilgit-Islamabad:
After breakfast, you’ll board a flight from Gilgit to Islamabad. Upon arrival in Islamabad, you’ll be transferred to your hotel for check-in. After settling in, enjoy a relaxing day in the city with some leisure time for shopping, exploring, or enjoying a peaceful walk in one of Islamabad’s many parks. In the evening, you’ll have a farewell dinner at a local restaurant, reflecting on the wonderful journey you’ve had. Stay overnight in Islamabad.
Day 9: Departure:
After breakfast, depending on your flight time, you’ll be transferred to Islamabad International Airport for your departure, marking the end of your unforgettable adventure in Pakistan.
